Restaurant & Bar

We serve lunch daily from 12.00 - 2.00pm. On a fine day our delightful garden is the ideal place to eat, drink and relax whilst  enjoying  the views over the Tilberthwaite Fells. We are the perfect lunch stop (or beer or afternoon tea stop) on many circular low level walks in the Langdale, Elterwater and Skelwith Bridge areas.

Evening meals are served in both bars and the restaurant between 6.00 and 9.00pm.

Reservations are taken for evening meals. Evening meal times may vary in winter so please check in advance during January and December.

Traditional Lakeland Inn

A typical Lakeland Inn wouldn't be complete without a selection of local ales from some of the many Cumbrian micro breweries. Our bar offers beers from Jennings, Hawkshead brewery, Coniston Ales, Ennerdale brewery, Heskett Newmarket, Cumbrian Legendary Ales and Barngates – to name but a few, and all of which are well tended in our beer cellar. We hold Cask Marque recognition for well kept traditional ales. We also have list of over 40 wines and 50 malt whiskies for those who are not beer drinkers!
