We serve lunch daily from 12 - 2pm. On fine days a delightful landscaped garden by a Lakeland stream is the ideal place to eat, drink and relax, while enjoying the views over the Tilberthwaite Fells. We are the perfect lunch stop (or beer or afternoon tea) on many circular low level walks in the Langdale, Elterwater and Skelwith Bridge areas.

Evening meals are served in both bars and the restaurant between 6.00 and 8.45pm.

Our chefs use fresh local Lakeland produce to create a varied choice of starters, main courses and delicious home made desserts.

Traditional Lakeland Inn

A typical Lakeland Inn wouldn't be complete without a selection of local ales from Cumbria and the Yorkshire Dales. Our bar offers Jennings Best, Cumberland Ale, Black Sheep, Hawkshead Bitters and Coniston Ales - all of which are well tended in our beer cellar. We hold Cask Marque recognition for well kept traditional ales. We also have a wide list of over 40 wines and 50 malt whiskies for those who are not beer drinkers!
